Head butcher wanted in City of Belfast

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
