Aluminium TIG welder — Dane County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Dane County, Wisconsin. You will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
