Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Akoko-Edo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Akoko-Edo, Edo. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₦255,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
