Earthmoving plant operator • Nassau County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Nassau County, New York. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster On a typical shift you will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
