Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plumbing technician in DeWitt County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings • Replace worn washers, seals and float valves • Carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs • Make connections to the mains water and sewer lines • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection Rotating shifts.
