Urgent requirement: sheet metal welder (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Ochiltree County, Texas. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
