Toolroom milling operator • Alpena County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Alpena County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
