Tyre bay technician — Greater Bridgeport Planning Region

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a tyre and puncture shop. What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Your main tasks: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills 6+ years on the tools preferred.
