Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Monongalia County, West Virginia. You will work at a haulage company. Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Requirements: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
