Safety officer — Crawford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Crawford County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
