Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Belknap County, New Hampshire. You will work at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Rotating shifts.
