Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Rotating shifts.
