Finishing plasterer — Isle of Wight County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites The role involves apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat.
