Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Dawes County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing The role involves install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
