Gas service engineer wanted in City of Martinsville

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in City of Martinsville, Virginia. The job is at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
