UPVC window fitter • Lee County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Lee County, Alabama. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. On a typical shift you will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
