Immediate opening: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Richmond County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
