Gas installation technician — Christian County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Christian County, Missouri. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
