Join our team: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On a typical shift you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
