Great opportunity: we are hiring a short order cook in Schuyler County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Six days a week, one day off.
