Argon arc welder wanted in Kootenai County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Kootenai County, Idaho. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
