On a typical shift you will fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
