Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fixer in Maricopa County, Arizona. You will be based on a hotel and villa renovation project. Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
