Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Linn County, Missouri. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
