Automotive refinish painter • Miami County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Miami County, Indiana. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Day-to-day duties: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
