Now hiring: we are hiring a production line operator in Bedford, England. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Day to day you will change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £1,900 per month, based on your experience.
