Fabricator-welder • Plymouth County, Massachusetts

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
