Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
