Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Day-to-day duties: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat 6+ years on the tools preferred.
