Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Mahaska County, Iowa. The job is in a tool room. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; load and index turning tools in the turret; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
