Vacancy available: vehicle body repairer (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will be based at an accident repair garage. What we are looking for: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench The role involves: • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
