Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
