Shuttering and concrete hand • Camden County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Camden County, North Carolina. You will be based at an infrastructure site. On a typical shift you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
