Immediate opening: core maker (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Bulloch County, Georgia. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Performance bonus on top of base pay.
