Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Cumberland County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
