Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Iron County, Wisconsin. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Six days a week, one day off.
