Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Charlton County, Georgia. You will be based in a catering unit. The role involves: • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures Requirements: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
