You should have: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Day to day you will pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray. ₦1,250 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
