Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Stewart County, Georgia. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
