Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Grant County, Kansas. The job is at an auto components factory. The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
