Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Akpabuyo, Cross River State. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
