Meat trimmer • Preston County, West Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Preston County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. You will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
