GMAW welder — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Jackson County, Florida. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 5+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
