Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The job is at a food processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
