Banksman wanted in Ottawa County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
