Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. You should have: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
