Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Rotating shifts. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
