Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Mashi, Katsina State. The job is at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
