Rigger wanted in Borough of Thurrock

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Borough of Thurrock, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. £135 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
