Fire and safety officer • Stark County, North Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Stark County, North Dakota. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Day to day you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
